Product designer. Fifteen years, self-taught, from agency work to
national banking infrastructure to Web3 platforms, and now AI product surfaces at
Accenture. I started out building what I designed, including as the sole frontend
engineer on a national bank's ATM, and that background still shapes how I design for
real delivery environments.

UI/UX Designer & Frontend Engineer · NCR Corporation
Apr 2014 – Jan 2020
Maitland, FL · Hybrid · Consumer Experience Design (CXD), Engineering group
Nearly six years designing and building ATM, POS, kiosk and back-office systems across the travel, financial and retail industries.
- Reduced delivery time by 15% through improved workflows and prototyping processes.
- National Bank of Canada ATM, Lead Frontend Engineer and the only developer on the CXD team. Delivered the interactive prototype, the production frontend and on-site implementation support, embedded with roughly twenty backend engineers through Angular integration. Flown to Montreal for the final sprints.
- Replaced the team's handoff process: production-ready frontend code instead of static measurement guidelines. On every subsequent project I worked on, the implementation-drift rework that used to be budgeted for was not needed.
- Solved animation under an Internet Explorer 11 floor by decomposing motion into discrete CSS frame animation, using no JavaScript so backend library integrations were left undisturbed.
- Designed the ATM voice-guidance interaction model for blind and low-vision users, with the visual focus state mirroring the audio.
- Designed for English and French in the same layout, with French running 30–40% longer for the same content.
- Bank of Cyprus ATM: selected over four other designers to define the direction when the work was at risk of going to an outside agency, then served as Lead Developer. Produced four palette variants on one structure to prove the architecture was palette-agnostic.
- NUI Library: core team member and Lead Designer on NCR's shared design system: colour system, custom components extending Google Material, and the documentation site.

Selected Project
Product Designer & Engineer · N-Studio
2026 – Present
Self-initiated · designed and built solo
An AI naming studio built end to end (product thesis, interaction model, design system and implementation) as a packaged macOS application.
- Replaced the category-standard filter panel with a single plain-language prompt, and designed the affordances needed to buy back what the filters had given away for free.
- Designed the preference-learning layer so every recommendation explains itself, carries a stated confidence, and is spread across buckets so the recommender cannot collapse into near-duplicates.
- Built it in React and TypeScript, packaged with Electron, with a local relational store shaped to map 1:1 onto a future server schema.
- Instrumented generation health (usable names, duplicates and rejects per batch) rather than hiding model behaviour behind a spinner.
